Jesus said, “Don’t Overcharge Your Hearts with Surfeiting”
Dear Reader, before continuing, please take a moment to say a prayer asking God to send His Holy Spirit to be your only guide. Thank you SO much!!
As always, we want to be respectful, but, as always, we MUST tell the truth. In this Blogsite, we examine the word, "Surfeiting." Strong's Concordance sheds some shocking information about Surfeiting.
By comparing Surfeiting and its root words, we find definitions such as,  "Snatched Away up," "Caught Up," "Taken Away Up," and other words and phrases used daily by our popular Preachers. As we continue, let's remember that, whatever "Surfeiting" means, Jesus warned His Disciples, who were the Founders of His Church, and He warned us, to completely avoid it!

Text —LUKE 21:34
“And take heed to yourselves [speaking to His Disciples, thus His Church] lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with SURFEITING, and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and so that day come upon you [His Church] unawares."
Jesus is speaking to His Church, not reprobates.

What did Jesus mean by, “surfeiting?" The actual word in the original language is, “kriaipale” and, it is a very mysterious. Last day Biblical warnings and prophecies addressing the last days often contain statements that do not square with our understanding of Christian behavior. Jesus and Paul used words like, “drunkenness,” but drunkards have no part in God’s Kingdom (See 1Cor.6:10; Gal.5:21).  In the verse we are examining, Jesus may have been referring to physical drunkenness, but, what if He meant a spiritual stupor, a false comfort zone in which people are overjoyed—their hearts overcharged because they're clueless about their condition and what their future holds in store for them?

The Great Whore - Earth's Inhabitants Drunk
John saw the, “Great whore…with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication (Rev.17:1-2). If spiritual drunkenness was the point Jesus made, we need to examine the actual word He really used; the word translated, "surfeiting." We may as well say it now, the original meaning of the word Jesus used will cause some to be perplexed at best, and many Pre-Trib Rapture Promoters will be downright ANGRY!! If we carefully examine"surfeiting" and all of its root words, one meaning is "Snatched Away Up." Was Jesus warning us not to be overcharged by thinking we'll be "Snatched Away Up" to Heaven, rather than having to deal with Antichrist and the Tribulation? Could Jesus have been warning us not to get caught up in such a false hope? Could He be warning us to prepare for the last days?

The word “kriaipale” (surfeiting) is used only this once throughout Scripture. In English, surfeiting means gluttony and riotous behavior, but both Matthew and Luke record Jesus using the word, “gluttonous”, and in both cases the original Greek word is, phagos and has no connection whatever to the Greek word “kriaipale."
Let’s do a word study on Kriaipale, using Strong’s Concordance showing it exactly as it appears in the Concordance. Jesus warned against KRIAIPALE, thus whatever it means, we must seriously avoid it.

Strong's Concordance - Surfeiting
Kriaipale is word #2897 in Strong’s Concordance. Within each word definition, there's a number for another word, meaning that the other word is part of the root meaning. You’ll see the number 726 in the definition of “kriaipale”. This means the root word of Kriaipale is the word Harpazo. By following these numbers in a chain-like manner, we'll uncover all root words of Kriaipale.

Word #2897 “Kriaipale - pronounced (krahee-pal’-ah) Probably from the same as 726; properly a headache (as a seizure of pain) from drunkenness, that is (by implication) a debauch; by analogy a glut: -surfeiting."

Word #726 “Harpazo- pronounced (har-pad’-zo; from a derivative of 138; to seize (in various applications); catch (away-up), pluck, pull, take (by force)." (It is from this word, Harpazo, that Rapture Promoters  get the word Rapture)

Word #138 “Haireomai - (hahee-reh’-om-ahee) Probably akin to 142; to take for oneself, that is to prefer: -choose. Some of the forms are borrowed from a cognate “hellomai” which is otherwise obsolete."

Word #142 “Airo- (ah’-ee-ro); a primary verb; to lift; by implication to take up or away; figuratively to raise (the voice), keep in suspense (the mind); to sail away (that is weigh anchor); by Hebrew (comp.5375) to expiate sin: -away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up)."

Word #5375 Hebrew word “Nacah (naw-saw’) a primary root; to lift, in a great variety of applications, literally and figurative, absolute and relative (as follows): - accept, advance, arise, (able to, suffer to) bear (er, up), bring (forth), burn, carry (away), cast, contain, desire, ease, exact, exalt (self), extol, fetch, forgive, furnish, further, give, go on, help, high, hold up, honorable (+man), lady, lay, lift (self) up, lofty, marry, magnify, x needs, obtain, pardon, raise (up), receive, regard, respect, set (up), spare, stir up, + swear, take (away, up), x utter, wear, yield."

In other words, “Kriaipale's” root words are; “take away up,” “lift up,” “carry away,” “bear up,” “remove,” “receive," “catch away-up,” “arise,” “fetch," “seize,” “to raise up,” “pluck,” “to sail away,” and “bring up."

One definition from Strong's is to take by force.” The root of the word "Rapture" is "Rape." Do our Preachers "OVERCHARGE" their congregations with kriaipale? TV ministers work themselves and their congregations into a frenzy, actually using the exact words, snatched away up, “carried away up," Raptured,” etc! Are they OVERCHARGED? Why?

"No Need To PREPARE For Tribulation!"
Was Jesus warning His Church to prepare for the Tribulation instead of getting their hearts
overcharged with the false notion that they'd be "snatched away up" beforehand?

UNAWARE of Danger!
In this same warning Jesus used the word, “drunkenness.” What happens when people are drunk? They're NOT aware of danger! They're confused and have a false sense of security.

No Concern About Antichrist!
Could this apply to us if we're told we need not concern ourselves about Antichrist and his grand delusions? How about all of the Last Day False Teachers Jesus warned about that set us up for Antichrist?

Dancing and Cheering!
A TV Minister was preaching about the Rapture. Leaving the platform he literally ran down the isles shouting, “Two shall be in the field; one shall be taken, the other left. Two shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, the other left!” He began grabbing various members of his congregation, quickly escorting them to the front of the Church, demonstrating  that they’d be taken away up,” "snatched up," "Raptured Away." He was using these very words as his congregation literally demonstrated their overcharged hearts! They were clapping, dancing, and cheering.

There is another "Kriaipale" problem resulting in "Overcharged Hearts" concerning yet another False Doctrine:

"Grace Frees Us To Break God's Commandments"
As we went through the root words of, “kriaipale”, we saw other words constantly quoted by Pre-Trib Rapture promoters. We discovered “pardon”, “extol”, “forgive” and “to expiate sin”. These are good words that apply to all who truly repent (1Jn.1:9)—all who truly want to be born again believers (Jn3:3)—all who want to be New Covenant Christians (Matt.26:28; Heb.13:20-21)—all who want to obey God (Rom.6:16)—all who Keep His Commandments and have the testimony and faith of Jesus (1Jn2:3-4; Rev.12:17; 14:12), and all who are preparing for the Tribulation. These words DO NOT apply to those claiming "GRACE FREES US TO DISOBEY GOD'S LAW!" Sadly a great many do indeed get their "hearts very overcharged" with this false doctrine. This doctrine of demons could cause millions to miss their eternal salvation!

Another "Kriaipale" Problem - The Bride of Christ
We see the words, “to choose,” “take for oneself,” and “marry.” Could this be yet another warning from Jesus? Millions of people's hearts are “overcharged” because they think they are already members of the Bride of Christ. They’re assured that, because they live in the so-called "Church/Grace Dispensation," Grace has freed them to disregard God's Law. Kriaipale” and its root words contain phrases that are being hurled about by our popular preachers as they attempt to tell us we are part of the Bride of Christ despite the fact that we openly disregard the very warnings from Jesus Himself.

Kriaipale's Triple Warning
"Kriaipale" May be Addressing 3 False Hope False Doctrines

First - We need not prepare for Antichrist, the Tribulation, or the Second Coming because we'll be "Snatched Away" before any of these happen.

Second - We'll be "Snatched Away" as the Bride of Christ while committing the exact disobedience for which God will DESTROY earth's inhabitants just prior to Christ's Second Coming.

Third - That our sins are "expiated" (forgiven, wiped clean) even though we continue disregarding God's Commandments because we think we are in some kind of "Grace Age" during which time we THINK we can ignore God's Law. It's Antichrist who "Thinks to change Times and Laws" (Dan.7:24)! Will we be "Snatched Away Up to Heaven" while committing and approving of Antichrist's lie?? A scary thought!!

Is It Our Preacher's Fault, or Our Fault?
Are our preachers giving us this false hope because they believe it, or, because they're afraid we'll fire them if they tell the truth? Isaiah answers! Concerning end-times he wrote: “This is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will NOT hear the Law of the Lord: who say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things; speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits  (Isa.30:9-11).

Isaiah says we are demanding our preachers lie to us, because we don't want to hear the truth! Do our pastors have the courage to tell us the truth even if they know we'll fire them? Jesus said that if they don't tell us the Truth, in Judgment day He will say to them, "Depart from Me...I never knew you!"
Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father, who is in Heaven” (Matt.7:21).
Jesus then told exactly what these false preachers and false teachers would be saying when they cry to Him for mercy: "Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? And in Thy name cast out devils? And in Thy name done many wonderful works ? And I will profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from Me ye workers of iniquity" (Matt. 7:22-23).

The actual word Jesus used that is translated "Iniquity" was ANOMIA. It means "Annullers of God's 10 Commandments."
Conclusion
We will end by stressing the original point. Go to any Website of those Promoting a Pre-Trib Rapture and you'll almost always see that they refer to the word "Harpazo" as the word in the Bible from which they get the word "Rapture." Harpazo is the first root word for "Surfeiting." Was Jesus saying,
Don't let your hearts be overcharged with thinking you will be Snatched Away Up rather than having to prepare for Antichrist and the Tribulation?

Don't be overcharged with thinking you will be Snatched Away Up while openly disobying Me?

Don't think you will be part of the Bride of Jesus while tossing out God's Commandments?

Even if there is no connection with Surfeiting and what we present here, the Bible contains more than enough evidence that we need to seriously examine the popular messages we are receiving from our Ministers.

Dear Reader, we only ask that you pray for God's Holy Spirit concerning what we've presented here. God is preparing His Church for the days ahead in preparation for Jesus to come soon. Jesus needs His Church to reflect His Character. He said, "This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached into all the world, FOR A WITNESS unto ALL Nations, and then shall the END COME" (Matt:24:14)!! His Church will "Witness to all Nations" when His Church reflects Him to All Nations! Let's pray for His Spirit give us the strength to do this.

Thank you, Dear Reader, for your time and consideration.
